Liaisons are appointed to represent emergency management disciplines and provide subject matter expertise. Liaisons advocate and organize partnerships, communication and resources with public, private, and non-profit sectors to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.  They also facilitate communication and partnerships with all of the appointed liaisons that represent the various emergency management disciplines and are expected to give a report or update at the monthly membership meeting.​
